SMN macros

Macros are for lazy people and lazy dps are the bottom feeders of dps.

That is why macros were designed in game? If that is what you believe, explain why have them at all?

The enmity bar is a terrible way to gauge DPS fyi.

Macros are about efficiency. I am coming from SCH and want to get the most out of SMN like I do with my SCH macros.

You will not get the most out of your SMN with macros. That's all there is to it. Yeah they're great to tie embrace to your physicks and such but it just doesn't work that way for SMN. Your Egi will always hit the enemy you tell them to and just clicking obey with a different target is all you need to make them switch. You can still have them use any other skill on something you're targetting even if it's not their target.

Macros round up to the nearest second and are not the fastest at going off anyway. Every single 2.5 wait becomes a 3s wait and macros are not adept at using off-GCD moves when you're on CD. I can Swiftcast shadow flare and pop rouse and spur just in time to start casting ruin as my GCD comes off, a macro could never do that.

I think what also needs to be considered here.. Controller vs Mouse/Keyboard. Players who use a controller playing on PS3/PS4 would benefit from macros I feel more than someone who is on mouse and keyboard.

Outside of placing the pet the PS4 crossbars are fine if you know how to use them.
