SMN macros

Let's be real.. highly inefficient? Not the words I would use. This is only an opening combo that I use at the beginning of a fight and not used again since a SMNs rotation changes throughout the fight. I am ALWAYS 2nd on list when there is a BLM and 1st when there isn't.. So, I hear ya, but do not agree with my experience.

Let's say this is during the first 10 seconds of a fight. I need only 2.5 seconds max to get off all I need. 7.5 seconds I already have my 3 DoTs up, I've already used Fester and I'm working on either Shadow Flare + Contagion or Miasma 2 + Contagion during the GCD depending on where I need to be positioned for the boss. For you: 10 seconds and you've just finished your first Fester

I believe your math is off dude. In 7.5 Seconds you have all 3 abilities + Fester, takes me 8 seconds not 10. (Honestly cant believe a debate of split seconds)

Another thing wrong about your macros is how early you seem to be using Virus. Virus is best saved for when you know a big attack is about to hit. If you waste Virus as such and the boss readies his attack "Oh crap Antibody's up"
Looking at it, you most likely won't get 2 Festers during 1 Raging Strikes duration because of all the seconds you've lost relying on Macros and that extra .5 second you're using per skill

Yes I agree Virus is to be timed and fair point but there are not too many times where I feel a virus is needed in the first 2 min of a fight.

To the point of having 2 Festers with 1 Raging Strike, I feel your math is wrong again. combo takes 18-19 seconds, Raging Strike is 20s.. I haven't seen an issue where my 2nd macro didn't complete in time for Fester during Raging Strike
