I was in 4 parties trying to read the story in the ultimate weapon quest and had nothing but elitist speed runners calling us "rude" for wanting to know what the story was about, well finally we skipped all the CS's because 1 person said "you can watch them in your inn" that was BS you get the LAST CS not all of them, I'd bet 99.8% of the people that has cleared all the story missions don't know squat about the story on account of speed running through it (or rushed through it by elitists), but one of the best things that makes a game great is a great story, so far it dose have a great story (or the parts I wasn't rushed through), I'm enjoying this game (when elitists isn't screwing it up) and would like to see this game have a long life.

Not that what they did was right, but you really can watch them all in the inn. Most of the instance cut scenes are under Duty, not Main Scenario Quests. Only the ones specific to the quest itself are under the quest. I personally skipped the cut scenes when I did those places(my choice, never forced) and watched them all in the inn.

Sorry op, this is probably the oldest argument on these forums since ARR launched. You're just starting a flame war (whether you realize or not).

I agree, I still haven't seen the cutscenes for the last story mission because of this. Yeah, I know I can watch it on Youtube, but that shouldn't be expected of someone that's put in more than a few hours grinding to beat the story mode.

Er are you talking about the Praetorium? The rest of the cses are under the "duty" tab in the Unending Journey. Sadly, speed running prae in the DF has pretty much been the standard since about 1 week after launch. If you would like to watch the cses you have to make your own party, which is what I did for my 1st time.

You can't watch all of the last two story mission cutscenes in the Inn.

All cut-scenes are in inn, you just have to select correct category. I made same mistake before.

However, that said it's much better to watch cut-scenes in the dungeon to have context.

You can, i've done it. Only 3 recent cut scenes were not watchable, they were part of the Extreme primal quests, and that has been fixed. Tell me which they are and I can tell you where and how.

Any of the cutscenes from the last story mission, the only one I could find was the very last one after you beat the boss.

To tell you the truth, I've only checked twice so maybe I was looking in the wrong spot.

Most of the cuts cenes are from the instance itself, not unique to the quest. They are under duty and the relevant instance. It does cause a problem of watching them in the proper order, but they are there.

Yeah this is a really old issue, which was supposedly fixed after the PF was implemented. SE's solution was basically for you to form your own groups with the "no cutscene skipping" option selected so that you can experience story dungeons the way they're supposed to be experienced. So I would suggest trying that out next time (if you care to anymore).
