Memorizing exactly when and where to move is something you had to do in Mario, it shouldn't be something you have to do in a game as good as ffxiv.

I'm not sure why you'd want to compare a FPS to a RPG? Of course a FPS takes a different type of skill set and reaction time, which the average gamer develops after lots of practice. Not everyone considers that "good" or "better" gaming... just "different" from an RPG.
