This!
Had a tank quit on us for Haukke Manor NM for heaven's sake. A quick, easy dungeon, and he just quit out without saying a word ... no new people either so he didn't even have that excuse =P
Its not THAT annoying, I just dont get why PLD and SCH will stoneskin the whole party when the WHM already is doing that......

As a career brd I can admit to forgetting sing ballad or realizing 1/4 through the fight that there's a dps caster in the pt and that I need to use foe. So I definitely have my faults, but I have my serious pet peeves as well.
-People that don't follow the tanks marking order
-tanks that don't mark when pulling multiple mobs
-dps that feel the need to fight every mob except for what the tank is fighting.
-anyone besides the tank or healer that yells "ignore adds" (like that really shouldn't be your call)
-anyone that queues for DR/DF and then withdraws the moment the duty pops
-anyone that queues for DF and then goes afk making the wait for the duty take even longer (why even queue?)
-anyone that leaves a duty after a wipe to the first boss (lately experienced that with tanks)
-watching other brds use foe when there's no blm or smn in group
-tanks that move mobs from over top of the Fire Arrow circle
-healers that think their only job is to heal (for christ sake cast a few DoTs every so often).
-tanks that don't know how to position themselves for a pull and get mad, blame other members of the pt for the wipe because we ended up with 2-3 other groups of mobs on us, and then rage quit.
-In conjunction with the one above, tanks and/or other pt members that yell for dps not to AoE when we clearly have one too many groups of mobs attacking us.

hi im a scholar that uses stoneskin
to save time, i will SS the dps on boss encounters
what bothers me is when whm's insist on casting stoneskin at the start of ever fight when its completely unneeded because you have a SCH with succor in the group
no. at the start, its better to have the whm do SS. galvanize and stone skin stack. so its 18% of that persons health, plus whatever you healed with adlo/succor
As a summoner, something that annoys me is when other summoners don't use shadow flare. It really does make a difference.
Tank did this last night immediately upon getting Pharos Sirius in the high level roulette. He left so fast, I didn't even catch his name.
thank you kind sir/lady *-*
oh, sorry, I tought damage mitigation was useful, didnt know it's unneeded. Guess you gonna stop using Adloquium too? xD
My point was that idk why SCH/PLD use stoneskin on the whole party before the battle begins WHILE the WHM is doing it.... Mid-fight is ok to use anytime the SCH/PLD feels like it.

my point was that sometimes its unnecessary to SS the pt before the battle.
lets use Titan HM for example. the very first set of stomps will almost always break SS + adlo on your PT, one medica + succor will top the group back off regardless of if they had the SS on them. therefore putting stoneskin on the whole PT is just a waste of time. whm cast protect let the sch cast succor go go go!
in the case of 4 man dungeons i make it a point to keep stoneskin up on my whole party at all times to help mitigate any unforeseen dmg they take and to give me a bit of breathing room to get them healed up. this is where i find the most use out of stoneskin.
when the damage can be anticipated and easily cured(not a near one shot like MB or death sentence), stoneskin is kinda pointless
