I like the idea, but ultimately hq mats don't matter to crafters, some do but most don't,
yes I understand to people starting their crafting career they can matter, but they don't need or can afford a massive stack of hq, if there's to many it will just reduce the price of hq mats which hurts gatherers . plus in my experience I always get around 25-30hq per 100 items gathered, although it does depend on luck. which was always enough for what I needed.

No its doesn't, since the real GP goal is 650GP. 2 swings at 100% HQ, through either 2 extra swings or 1 reveal +1 extra swing= 600GP + 50GP for +5% gather skill so you can use the 100% HQ skill every time. Since gather rate caps at 95%, need skill to get to 100%
Love this idea.
I think the GP cost:effect Ratio, as well the leveling "spread" are way out of whack.
Leveling a Gatherer... Oh yay a new ability! I can barely if even use it once & at the expense of all other ability usage for quite a while. Oh boy!
