AoE Removal Clarification, Please

Well, from last interview seems like right now only cure will split into cure and curaga...even tho it might be a translation error, i'd assume lower spells might keep the toggle, with "job spells" having AoE only...like BLM having only -ga nukes.

Perhaps I've just gotten too spoiled to having one size fits all spells.. This change doesn't sound fun.

nah you were given a taste of freedom and flexiblity and now we may have that taken away. Just wait and see what they're actually doing, while I always think of the worst case i have sneaky feeling that they are only really re-done how the AoE works. Ive been playing a bit of FF9 again, you can press R1 to switch from AoE to single-target. Im starting to wonder if its just a press of 'Z' key still (or maybe just hold for AoE) that switches from AoE versions to single target version
