You know whats funny is that I played FFXI for years and things took a lot longer to earn for EVERYONE there was also more teamwork and leveling was a lot harder. This game is not FFXI its FFIV so don't compare them. This thread is a plea that something be done about the RNG of the drops. I understand that if you were the lucky who got them all in a week your saying how the quest isn't that bad and that others should suck it up but it wasn't bad for you.
For everyone who has the easy way with RNG there are the people who are just flat out unlucky. You can say that RNG haunts everyone but this isn't 1 drop it's 12 drops needed and while there is a very little chance that each one of them takes you 12 hours or more each there is STILL THAT CHANCE and THAT is the problem.
agreed i can personally say that the fate grinding while very annoying and alot of people dont like i understand why it was done and i have been extreamly happy with the zodiac quest as a whole that they did try to make it harder but i do agree the rng system is complete garbage to be used in progresson content and should never be used as it locks players out of content and is unfair to the community as a whole the only time rng should be used is in content such as retainer ventures that was rng done perfect this system will get changed the only question is will it be a week or will it be 2.4 but the system will be changed and when it is i know alot of us will be extreamly happy
