Gathering is Suprisingly Fun!

I play on the PS3, so I just set up my laptop next to my recliner and turn on Netflix or YouTube and Skype and chat with friends, and watch movies and anime and just kind of zone out while I farm

I don't really look at it like that. It's more like, relaxing and being able to do things I can't normally do at the same time. I can't watch Netflix while I'm doing my dailies or doing dungeons, because I want to focus on the game. With gathering, I can catch up on the shows/videos/anime that I've been wanting to watch, but have been too engrossed in the FFXIV to watch, and all the while keep gathering and being productive in-game. Also it's relaxing to me after working all day, so it's all a good way to have some zen time as well. haha.
