Too hard to get Atmas ╮（╯＿╰）╭

I do not understand why people get worked up on ATMA grinding. It's obviously a time sink, SE wants you to bang your head on this one. It's not eveybody's cup of tea, and some people have it really bad, but it's suppose to last us you know?

I suggest to allocate a portion of time to ATMA and then move on to other things, doing this in one go is madness.

I generally chat up FC mates or watch Youtube when I do mindless grinds lilke this, and allocate 1/4 of my daily game time to this then move on.

And there are children enslaved to work more than your 60 hours a week, so you have no idea how little your petty complaints about work getting in the way of your gaming mean to them. Seriously, people could find something that's actually important to whine about. Maybe we could go ask those children what they think of the Atma grind, or RNG, or anything involved in sitting on our asses and playing video games.

I won't disagree (though, I mean, jumping straight to childhood slavery is coming down a little hard @_@). Just saying that if your argument is going to be "I have real life obligations and yet I managed to do it," 32 hours a week is really not impressive.

Let's see, if I only count time that I'm actively working, I work something like 42 hours a week. If I actually count the breaks I get for meals and such, it's more like 60 hours a week, assuming no late nights (yeah, right). You have no idea how little your 32 hours/week matters to me.

What, you think I sit on my arse? LX groups and T5 attempts take forever to put together and tend to fall apart rapidly. Been trying to get the Tidal Bow so I can at least somewhat ignore the atma grind for a while, but bows don't drop for me and LX "farm" parties go 1/5 and fall apart. Heck, I'm honestly just glad I finally got T5 downed so I can spend that time doing something else, whether that be LX or atma or trying to gear up one of my alt classes or finally getting off my but and leveling some of my alt classes for cross-class skills.

I'm not wasting my own time (much). It's just that the atma grind is seriously one of the most boring aspects of the game right now, and I can't really stand to do it more than about an hour at a time. By comparison, I have no qualms beating my head against LX or any other endgame content for hours on end. It's the fact that atma is not only a grind but a simulated low-level grind that makes it beyond tedious.

So, yeah, I'll make my 2 days off a week count. It's just probably not all going to be toward atma.

Watched animoo whilst doing atmas. Payed next to no attention the entire time. Felt like it took 20 minutes.
The trick is to stop caring about atma drops and you get them (seemingly) quicker.

I got 1 after 3 hours over the course of the first week. 2-5 came within an hour and half of each other one Sunday afternoon. 6 took about 4 hours over a week, 7 came within 5 fates after 6th. its all RNG. I do it only while queued up for DF. so for the most part seems to average out about 1 an hour, er a little over.

on a side note, I should probably get a psvita to do it while sittin on the shitter as well..

Ok up until now i have been ok with Atma and while rng does suck big for these my complaint based off of yesterday is it truly is unfair.
Going to low level fates as blm and where their is Bards and arcanists (mainly Bards) only attack i would have that would be fast enough is scathe but low levels do not have it.
So how many attacks do i get off, maybe one which = bronze
I was so mad yesterday that i ended up switching to my Bard, payback, hehe
Now before some say why have you just not gone as Bard, well drops have come more frequent when i am blm it seems, 6 atmas as blm and only 2 as Bard
Besides some players their only character may be blm
