When first starting to lvl cul I was amazed at how detailed the recipes actually were (unlike most mmos where food consists of gems, ores etc,...) I would loveeeeee a real life version of this. Would shell out money for it as well

It should be noted that most of the recipes in-game are just real-life recipes with Eorzean ingredients. However, that being said, what's the real-life equivalent of an Eft? They look like certain extinct giant predatory amphibians, which obviously won't work. However, most of them were very similar to Crocodiles and Alligators, so I would suggest using Alligator meat for things like Eft Steak and Dzemael Gratin.

"Knight's Bread" seems interesting, and "Lentils and Chestnuts" sounds delicious. Never thought of putting chestnuts in lentil soup. Description "A stew consisting of Lalafellin lentils and Gridanian chestnuts boiled in sour red wine. ". Sounds soooo good.

I've had stewed lentils and chestnuts before and they are delicious! Yumyumyum. Knight's Bread seems pretty normal to me, but very tasty! What I find would be interesting is using Knight's Bread for Stuffed Artichokes. That sounds like a tasty idea!

The Eorzea food list makes me hungry too The list is pretty much all real meals save for using eft; what I really like is that they use maple and honey as their main sweeteners. Takes things back to an older style of cooking!

Every recipe has to have a xiv counterpart and only one recipe can be chosen for one name.

As I said before, a good replacement for Eft meat would be Alligator.

Anyway, I would probably help out as much as I could with this idea myself. I tend to like trying new foods, and it'd be cool to try replicating some of the Eorzean recipes. Particularly a Meat Miq'abob~.
