I just don't buy it, griefers act in very predictable ways with certain motives and this one just doesn't seem to fit. The griefer would have no way of knowing whether it caused a hassle or not, there's no direct interaction after the kick. There's also the matter of directly involving authority figures which runs the very real risk of getting themself banned if they were indeed harassing anyone in the obvious way described. It doesn't add up, huge risk and little to no emotional payout, it's not a griefer's MO.

"Repairing gear", "have to go" and "clicked the wrong dungeon" reasons are not listed among the reasons to vote dismiss. Vote dismissing without a reason is punishable. What the person is doing may be provoking, but it is your responsibility not to be provoked.
Someone may have waited 30 min to get to the dungeon and the other player just carelessly clicked the wrong dungeon in the broken gear while he had to go in 5 minutes somewhere... I vote "No" if vote dismiss is used in such cases.

You heard it here folks, don't try to be the nice people if there really is a situation like that. The people deserve their 30 minute penalty because sometimes mistakes can be made.

It feels like no one wins in this case because you're technically "abusing" the dismissal system and then getting penalized for attempting to be the nice person if it was a legitimate cause.

Queuing in the broken gear is not a mistake - it is plainly being careless (why else people stand near menders when they are doing dailies). Neither it stops the person from running dungeons - trials got echo and 4 player content was nerfed.

Your mindset is clearly different from mine, but that's fine. You're welcome to your own opinion. As are others who are willing to overlook that sometimes things happen. Maybe someone who gets off easy instead of eating the 30 minute penalty will realize not to make that mistake again? It's not always a case of "you screwed up, suffer for it".

This is 100% fake. Not only do GMs always check the logs, but they also always speak to directly to the people indicated in the ticket. Even if they didn't checks the logs straight away from the report, they would have spoken to you and you would have told them to check the chat log.
