48-72 seems more accurate. He was killed Wednesday afternoon on Cactuar then about the same time today, so about 48 hours between those two kills.

My biggest complaint on it is the patch notes say that getting a gold rating should be easier now. During the kill today I landed the claim, got in a full party, and still got a silver rating. It's still WAY too difficult to get a gold rating on that FATE.

I suspect there was a failed kill around hour 36 between those spawns. With a roughly 36 hour respawn period after a successful kill and a roughly 15 to 20 hour respawn after a failed kill you would get apparent 48 and 72 hour spawn periods depending on the servers ability to kill him during its low population periods.

Prior to 2.2's release, I managed to see Odin spawn 3 times over a 36 hour period on Siren. First time was a failed kill of a level 57 Odin during the midday, second spawn was a time out of a level 56 Odin that appeared after midnight. The third spawn was midday/afternoon of a level 54 Odin that was successfully killed with a large number of parties getting Gold and a lag burst of about 40 players getting the "Uncut" achievement.

The requirements to get Gold seem to vary with Odin's level. Level 60 seems to require a higher enmity score than level 54.

~24 hours from a fail and ~48 hours from a kill. Those seem to be the most accurate times I've seen. He was killed last Wednesday and Friday then spawned on Sunday and apparently was a failure since he would have been level 60+. He spawned Monday, and then again Wednesday. His next spawn on Cactuar should be Friday in the AM, around of before 9 AM central.
