Apparently my character looks like Quistis

It's an MMO I pretty sure just cause you don't notice people (which I doubt you check EVERY midlander chick you see lol) in your time zone that look like your character doesn't mean its not super common on other servers at varying times.

I even have my 2nd 1.0 character that looks like yours except she has black hair instead of blonde.
Not trying to rain on your parade or anything, if you see Quistis in your character that's no problem,
but you can't say your unique in an MMO, I know there's probably plenty of people who look like mine.



But surely you can tell I look like Fang, right? We both are tan!

i admit theres alot of ppl that look like her, so we can say the midlanders witth that blonde hair
and blue eyes look like quitis...also seeing her last name as almasy and immeditetly think back to seifer, or ff8 in general.
it's pretty cool lol..now if only we can get more past FF hairstyles. (:

I'm in no way saying that I'm the only one with this face, merely stating that it is one of the more uncommon ones. I mean, if it's really common I'm sure anyone here can run around town and find someone really quick to snap a screenshot with. I mean, that can't be too difficult can it? xD

But I guess whenever the idea that someone's character may have a unique characteristic everyone wants to jump on their case and tell them they're trying to be a snowflake. Lawl

You and I have the same face type, but our features are different. I've seen you in Mor Dhona and even compared our characters faces once infront of the mender xD

You have a thin sloping nose, smaller chin, thicker lips. So while we did infact choose the same face preset, we chose very different feature types for it.

I just notice this happens a lot whenever someone makes a comment about a unique look for their character, a bunch of banshees come out of the woodwork pointing their fingers saying "you're not a snowflake! You're the same as everyone else!" When my thread had nothing to do with being unique in the first place.

Ugh and this is why I wish SE gave us more options with customization. You're character is very cute! You do look like Quitis but so do a lot of other blonde hair pony-tailed blue-eyed girls. I have seen others on my server that looked like this. I've tried my hardest to not resemble anyone else but sometimes there is no way away from not looking similar. I've had to change my hair color a couple of times because I've ran into people who looked like me. xD

It's not that people are saying you're not a unique snowflake per se, it's them saying that even if your avatar did look like Quistis, it's not much of a feat due to midlander sameface. You said you brought this topic to the forums for opinions, and that's what you got. Think what you want and let others do the same.

I don't mind people giving their opinion, but when it has nothing to do with the subject of my thread it seems a little deliberate. If you disagree than fine! You agree than fine! But to point out something that really has nothing to do with my thread seems pointless. lol
