I am waiting for SE to bring back Lady Yukata costume.
Seasonal are things that repeat every year, so I don't know why players would think the items would be unique and not available later on, unless it's specifically mention that it is limited, even limited can be something that is limited for a set amount of time and not forever. If it's something nice, I think it will be great for new players to be able to get it later on.

I can understand SE re-releasing 1.0 seasonal items in 2.0 which they have for the most part cause an lot of people missed out on the stuff in 1.0 giving people a 2nd chance to grab them but to keep giving them every single year really ruins them. It's like SE gave them out in 1.0 you missed it fine they gave you another chance and you miss it again, then tough your loss.
(example.. me and 5 other people have this really cool hamster outfit, the following year it's re-released now 50 people have it then 500, 1000.... sigh look at me imma a clone everyone looks like hamsters)
You do not need to keep re-releasing the same items every season, change them up, something new each season.

While I'm totally fine with seasonal items being available to the masses I don't really think it's fair to call people selfish for to keep certain things Legacy only.
At the end, they where presented as a sort of thank you gift for supporting the game during its most trying time, so I understand why it can feel unjust to some when they're just cheaply given away like that to everyone.

seasonal items were never meant to be rare. Even in FFXI seasonal items from past years were released again.

I think people are calling ones selfish that are mad at the fact that the devs release a mount that is some-what the same to the mount the legacy players have.

In this case I agree with them 100%. It is not the same mount, but a mount with different graphics that looks some-what the same as the legacy mount. No one is going to mistake the legacy mount with the newer mount.

There is a link at the 1st or 2nd page i think to the statement SE made about it. They said that those items would not be available to be gained in ARR.

Its a list of discontinued content. If you noticed it has a list of the old Seasonal quests as those quests are discontinued, however the items are available when the new seasonal quests come out. So based on past practice since launch, I would think the Yukata would be made available during an upcoming summer event.
