That is not the same. The mounts have different graphics on top of their heads. It's not just a color swap. Seems like you don't want anyone 2.0 to have a Gobbue. If that is true than I can't only see that mindset as selfish.

Honestly, i don't mind (gobbuue is ugly as hell). Really. But it bitters me that back in 1.0 Square said ONLY 1.0 players would have a Goobbue as exclusive mount (some kind of "proof" that we were since "the beginning"). Now new players have a Goobbuee

I'm one of those 1.0 players that's GLAD that all these supposed exclusive items are available again. When I heard about the laurel goobbue I was overjoyed. I remember all the whining during the Beta when we could play as your 1.0 characters, people demanding to have a goobbue mount despite having missed the very public announcements of it's eventual unavailability. Making everything available again has been a boon and it's only a matter of time before Mumor comes with crates full of yukata and clogs (and the firedance, maybe?). And to that I say 'bring it'!

I don't think anyone was confused about WHY you guys did it.. we just think it was a lame decision. The seasonal event items don't even bother me because seasons come every year and it makes sense that the items would too.

For me, it's more about things like the goobbue mount that were supposed to be one time only things. Yeah sure, the new one is "different," but come on... it's really not.
