Nope. Anything that remotely suggests the possibility of being exploited by RMTs should never be considered. I won't go into details as to why this is not a good idea, because it's quite obvious (or at least I hope it is).

Ha.

Sorry, now that I got that out, no they shouldn't. You should not be able to buy your reward. Put in the time to get the item.
Sheesh, kids these days.
Also to this
You're clearly doing something wrong. I bet you're doing fates without your zenith weapon equipped.
I do agree that some Atma luck shines more on other people.
But make it trade-able? We're getting Atmas for our weapons not someone else.
No. The whole point of this "quest" is for the player to get something using his own effort.
Dude chill out. You say im the one that's butt hurt, but you are the one that got defensive and insulting.
Telling someone that their idea is terrible without giving a reason, or without being ABLE to give a reason, means you are just purposely going against someone for no real reason other than trolling. Im not butt hurt that people disagree with me. I expected it. And im smart enough to know that the quantity of people that agree or disagree with an idea is NOT what determines the quality of an idea.
I am very chilled. And I don't feel the need to argue with you any longer. If you absolutely need a reason why I think it was a terrible idea, it's because of the countless mentions of how this could stimulate RMT, and what the player base who sells primal/coil runs would do to this 'trade'. Since there was 2 full pages about it, I didn't feel the need to reiterate what had been said that many times. Apparently I was wrong. Also, I guess having an opinion means I'm a troll. Ok.
You may be able to say I got defensive, but I never once insulted you. In fact, in my first post I went out of my way to tell you I wasn't trying to be rude to you personally. Saying you got "butt hurt" isn't an insult. You could have asked me why I thought it was a terrible idea, right? But no, you just pointed out (condescendingly) that my opinion isn't an argument because I stated no facts. Well, there aren't any facts to be stated sir, because your idea isn't in practice for facts to be gathered from. That. Is. Why. It's. An opinion......
I'm truly sorry you were offended by my original statement, it was not my intent to "troll" you. If singling me out makes you feel better, then by all means go ahead. I won't continue to post in this thread, though. I have said how I felt about this topic.
Have a great day!
No, we can't have players to players interaction in this mmorpg!
Also lol at the RTM answers. People need to stop living in fear of RTM for everything. Not like this game has a healthy economy anyway, what's the worst thing they can do? Buy all Limsa beach houses?

Yeah it sounds like a great idea until you realize the RMT bots would be camped everywhere. Most progression in this game can be considered a grind. Doesn't mean people should be able to buy top level gear. Then you just have a bunch of people who are highly geared and have no idea what they were doing.
Wow, you're an incredibly rude person to everyone who doesn't agree with you. Who says that your skill for playing the game is more worthy of recognition than the patience of someone else who works for their atma?
Atma farming is only a waste of time if you don't want to do it. If the grind is too intense for you, go somewhere else. Don't attack other people's leisurely pleasures by telling them they are wasting their time, or that what they are doing takes no skill. Skill is inter-subjective. If fate grinding is a person's goal, they are demonstrating their own skill—not your biased definition of what constitutes an "achievement" or actual "skill."
