What does it mean for Sony to sell Square Enix's stocks?

I think it will be a little hard on them still but I think by next year they will get things turned around especially with PS4...time will tell though this is just my opinion.

There are many reasons to sell whatever stock you own in a company. Maybe, SE's stock is high and analysts believe it's a temporary high, so sell now. The old adage "buy low, sell high."
I own stock in Amazon, for example. I'm still kicking myself that I didn't sell when it was at 405.. now it's like around 315 and doesn't look to be heading back up anytime soon.

Sony has sold 7 million PS4's not including shipped to retail. It think sony is going to do just fine in the long run. I do hope SE continues to put more on Sony platforms however, they are in my top fav of companies

with every console sold at a loss, and about 2 games worth buying at the moment.

using the numbers that sony released regarding price point and cost to build...they made over $2.7bil, but it cost them over $2.6bil for those 7mil units...leaving them only a profit of $126mil...before marketing, R&D, etc take their cut out of it as well...Basically selling tons of units can actually be a liability when you sell at a loss.

I never said it would solve their problems, I am saying this is helping alot and I assume as E3 rolls around they will go even higher. I dont see them divebombing anymore I actually think with the help of ps4 sales they will turn everything aroun d slowly.

Unfortunately the Japanese arent PC gamers. If anything theyll just start releasing games for 3DS, handhelds are HUUUUGE over there.

I thought the exclusives were done when they released XIII on Xbox. And if they do put XV on PC, I hope it's a proper release.
