Nice stats Huckster. Have you gone to such lengths?

I've caught 27/37 now with just the max stats you can get from the gathering accessories (only 339/280) and tomato pies or stuffed artichokes. No guild buffs sadly. I don't know if I will be pleased if I have to increase this. I already feel like I am spending too much money. Then again, what else is money for in the game.

I've only got maybe a couple misses from having 366 gathering but it still happens. Usually I'll catch the big fish on the first or second try. I've caught ZERO high-qualities of any of these fish.

I've caught quite a few of them- Gigantshark, Zalera, Sabertooth Cod, Bloody Brewer - all HQs.

I'm curious, what are the sizes of these things? Looking at how massive the Silver Sovereigns are (HQ Sovereign is as big as decent sized NQ Titanic Sawfish), I am guessing the world record sizes from before 2.2 are going to be completely obsolete now? I missed the boat on actually being a part of catching all these new fish while they were new (damn school), but I hope to be part of the wave of even more dedicated fishers who seek the biggest of the big fish.

I've tried to catch the Slime King with base Gathering 342 / Perception 283 -boosted with Tomato Pie (15/6) - so 357 / 289 in total - but I got "Fish gets away..." message 3 or 4 times (the weather and bait was OK). Slimy bastard! (...)

Only the Silver Sovereign is taking up a spot in my records. So I don't think the records will become obsolete. My Silver Sovereign was not as big as that Titanic Sawfish on record either. Maybe others are having different luck.

I imagine once people start getting HQ versions of these that will change. That's where the real record breakers are at. I have afeeling something like the Gigantshark will be pretty huge.
