Some advice to healers.

I did what you said and stood my ground and died, in a couple or so of hits, tank didnt care he didnt even realize I was dead until he died himself...not to mention the other DPS. There is another fact to keep in mind, standing your ground is only possible IF the damages done to you arent too heavy, if you see that after the first hit you get 25% of health removed (this is an example) I am not going to stand there and wait, because I know that at the second hit it will be too late to run away. Generally, and overall, MANY thanks dont give a dam about healers, they assume that healers are there for them, and if they dont .well they kick said healer...same as tanks rushing through zillions of mobs and then wondering how they could die in two hits. when healer was still recovering of a death and wasnt yet with the group but still on its way to the group

I'd like to add to the ballad thing that if you do have a macro for it, please add a sound effect to it. I main bard, I will try to see if a healer needs ballad, but sometimes I forget and honestly I don't watch the chat all the time and will miss you asking a few times, it's happened and I got yelled at. I am guilty of not having a macro like that for my healers I will admit to that, BUT it makes it easier for the bard. I also have friends who don't need ballad even if they do get low so I do get confused sometimes of whether or not YOU need it >>

if you use your ability as a bard whether a healer use it or not isnt important and even if we dont need it is always welcomed..at least in my opinion. I dont know how to use macro so I have no macros...I rarely ask for ballad mostly because I have no time to type either...and when a bard use that ability out of the blue I, personally, appreciate it and very much so

Consider, if you do not need the mages ballad and the bard has it up, he will suffer a 20% dmg penalty for no benefit.
But yeah, i prefer Bards which activate Ballad (cleverly) without beeing asked too.

Problem as I've mentioned before with "standing your ground" advice is that it isn't always good advice. I've actually avoided wipes by running away. Too many times, DPS are too focused on doing damage. Even with a macro that tells the party what is attacking me with sound, 9 parties out of 10 (possibly more) will have a tank that will completely ignore me (and often even the DPS will ignore me). No: Oh hey, maybe I should help the healer who is standing in front of me SPAMMING THAT THEY ARE BEING ATTACKED WHILE TANKING 7SEVEN7 of the 8EIGHT8 mobs and desperately healing themselves with cure 2 to stay alive. At which point, I go, F it. And run. And then kite the mobs. Takes me about 10 minutes since the party never seems to notice what is going on even after 3 deaths.

Had one party go: God the healer is useless, they aren't doing anything.

WHILE I WAS KITING 6 MOBS AND KILLING THEM ALL SOLO ABOUT 5-10 FEET AWAY. I did one more message that I was being attacked. No reaction. Spammed a few times...

Shut up, god, you didn't help us fight.

Afterwards...

Me: MAYBE IF I WASN'T BUSY SURVIVING SOLO SEVEN OF THE EIGHT MOBS YOU PULLED RIGHT IN FRONT OF YOUR FACES, I WOULD'VE BEEN ABLE TO HEAL!?

Needless to say, I switched to Cleric Stance and started soloing the dungeon. Again.

I swear, I find the worst parties =_=

The good parties: great. The bad parties.... horrible.
