I wanted to let you know that the team is currently looking into ways to counteract this behavior. If you encounter a player that is going AFK specifically in an attempt to be dismissed, please be sure to report this to the GMs.

You can counteract it by adding myth on the final boss as well. Problem solved.
That's not really the best of solutions. We're talking about a group of people who think 5-10min more of the instance is less efficient than the 30min wait for a penalty. Maybe they like to AFK a lot (I know I do during my normal solo play sessions). These people, given the impatience, are probably the same bunch that can't wait 30sec or so for a cutscene to finish. Do you really believe these people will think completing a dungeon that takes ~10min more (despite myth reward) is going to be worth their time compared to what they're currently doing? Logic says YES, these people say NO.
If they converted overcapped soldiery to myth, that'd be 45 myth for beating the boss (plus loot and commendations if anyone cares). I dont think anyone would leave anymore. That's not really the best of solutions. This would change the balance between dungeons that give myth and few or no soldiery and the new ones, roulettes, etc. The new dungeons would be clearly the best place to go: if you need soldiery, you get it, if not, 95 myth for the dungeon.
Myth would get too easy to obtain too, the gear progression altered if myth gear gets too easy to obtain relative to ilvl70 and 80, and animus upgrade would become much easier (that doesn't look to be wanted right now.)

They dont get 30min lockout if they join partys through PF. It only locks you out if you try to initiate the entry. That's not really the best of solutions. This would only cause them to nerf the first two boss Myth counts which means lower Myth overall and Brayflox then dies out weekly and people will go right back to CT - So they can counter it by nerfing it overall or they can disperse the Solid for a total of 45.
You can also counteract it by adding the 30 minute debuff to players who are kicked. I've had several tanks, healers, and DPS who just refuse to do anything and stand there until you kick them so they can just requeue.
And then people who get abuse kicked are also punished? Sounds like a great idea.
