If your character stood around Limsa when you were offline and you were gone for a LONG time, dont you think others would get sick of seeing you taking up space? Be realistic here, inactive players routinely are stripped of names and stuff in other games.....but usually arent deleted because they TAKE NO SPACE UP IN THE GAME WORLD. At least work on an apples to apples comparison for gods sake.

Thanks for telling me the real reason. But there are some wards, do you mean your wards have some inactive houses make you sick?
Even the house is removed, there will still be an empty land that you cannot enter, it is not like the case of a player logout. ^^;

The empty land is then able to be bought by someone else....its not rocket science to spot the differences and similarities in the situations.

I got your point, but I think it will be better if the housing is "rent a house" but not "buy a house".
For example, change housing to rental, pay the rent each month, this can ensure people really need a house but not just logon to keep it as well.

That would be perfect for personal housing, but when it comes to FC housing buying and having a requirement to use it are fine by me. A FC house shouldnt depend on one person alone to keep it going, if it does then its not a FC house but a personal one....you should have more than enough people using a FC house by the time things like chocobo stables and airship workshops come out.

You can say that but the reality is now FC house only requires one person alone to keep it going.
Moreover, I think every players have the freedom to decide how they make use of their houses.
Someone can use the house as a storage or showroom for their furniture. Chocobo stable and airship workshop are not mandatory when you purchase a plot of land and build the house.

TBH, I will not come back if I have been inactived for 35days.
My concern is players' rights is being diminished.
