First Coil of Bahamut in Duty Finder and Echo buff?

This is terrible, only two runs of doing it through the duty finder, both of which were horrifying runs, and yet they still decided to do something like this anyways.

I'm not sure how many others agree that the access to it through the duty finder is nice, but the people you're going to run into through it and the further weakening of any challenge it has just went down the drain as well. What parties in DF are going to want someone who takes off the Echo and plays without it? I can already hear all the people voting to kick people and make you waste time searching again just because you don't want it trivialized and "weaken your DPS" or whatever.

Was this a good idea?

They have said FOREVER that as new content comes out older content will be trivilizaed. There is absolutely nothing wrong with this. The gear is no longer the top. It still requires some coordination to do. 'hardcore' folk now have new content to do. the 'more casual' folk can now experience the content that was gated before.

I've dont them all in duty finder now(with exception of t5) and have won every time. It's not difficult and requires someone walking people through at times. Although I do believe the ilvl requirement should jump up a bit from where it is; just because how easy it is to get i85 without a problem.

I guess you just had bad luck.

The first was a complete ****storm. I joined into Turn 2 with two Scholars, one Warrior and a Marauder, and the Echo buff already being up, a healer quit and three others left too, that one was done in seconds practically.


The second had the most egomaniacal Tank I've seen in awhile. The ADS was already gone when I got there, he started bringing adds with him, all the DPS were melee, so one of the healers was with him and the other tank wasn't around, they were splitting them up and the other DPS besides me started attacking the mobs instantly instead of grouping them together. One of the healers died there and I almost did as well because he wasn't maintaining enmity, I said, exactly this "Tank really needs to Tank." because several people had already died by this point and we're going against regular adds. He started giving me attitude and that I should cry a river and a boatload of other insults. I was perfectly fine with taking it to him since he wanted to start something with me so badly, but one of the healers said "the ladies should put their handbags away and start the fight."

I'm sorry, but I have a PLD too and know how to use it, the dude is messing up, I'm not just going to say nothing? He proceeded to escalate his insults and attitude as it went on, would have gladly butted heads with him if they didn't start the Snake fight earlier after a wipe because the healer that died earlier died again it seems, I didn't see what happened. The dude was a complete asshole that was picking fights because he had tank insta-quene and I wasn't going to just let him go about it, if I make a mistake I writhe in someone pointing it out so I don't make it again. This guy pretended like he's god's gift to XIV and that doesn't fly with me.

I would rather they didnt touch the older content. The older content already gets trivialized by how easy it is to get higher ilvl gear, really dont need to make it buff you on top of that.

So you had 2 shitty groups in DF, tough luck.
DF groups are as random as the loot, queue again and you may get one that clears the dungeon without a problem.

got in T4 as BRD i 77 , tho it's not my main (main is PLD) all was smooth & easy 1 shot (even with 1 ppl dead) . Tried t5 , party was stuck @ conflag D: if anyone win T5 in DF pls post it

I think queuing for T2 in DF is just suicide. You're not going to find many people patient/skilled enough to deal with Rot.

T1-5 is no longer "meaningful" content; that's why they've given out a buff - so people (especially newer players "hint hint, PS4 players") can complete it for the sake of story. 10% still isn't going to be enough of a buff for some people.
