THIS! My goodness I'd love to see a dungeon based on Midgardsormr's remains!

But if anything:
Ruins of Gelmora needs to be a dungeon. Just seeing the entrace begs for dungeon.
And mostly importantly, if they're going to do the Crystal Tower finale, the final boss of the entire tower should be none other than the master of the crystals himself, CULEX. I'd love to see a rendition of him in this game! (Provided they don't eff it up)

Yeah i agree, i forgot about the reverse gear stat mechanic in Ipsen's castle. Hopefully we see more creative mechanics in dungeons/raid content in the future. You know, I must admit I considered a similar idea for a dungeon would be actually very neat for the game - like Ipsen's Castle, damage and defense are reversed so that end game gear would be practically worthless, at least to a certain point in the dungeon, forcing players to equip low end gear to get through it (and also make it so that gear doesn't Spiritbond and thus not be abused accordingly).
Or maybe something like that dungeon in FFIV which was magnetized and if you had metallic armour you were affected with a weight debuff (never mind if the characters are not wearing iron armour).
It would just add some interesting strategies to the regular 'head through, kill the things, click the targets, grab loot and beat the boss' dungeon routine.

Judging by the quests and dialogue from the NPCs outside the sanctum of the twelve it will likely be where people get married once it's 'restored' AKA added to the game.
Outer La Noscea ha an interesting area, the Floating City of Nym, which might warrant some exploration. There's also interesting corners of the world like Urth's Font, the Burning Wall of E. Thanalan, that labyrinth we never get to see in S. Thanalan, or the area just before Cape Westwind (forgot the name) that might make for good settings for new dungeons.
Also, I like what they did with Halatali HM, pitting you against other adventurer types. With La Noscea being a big sea-faring place, why not a grand shipwreck/ship graveyard where you race/fight against other adventurers or pirates for a treasure?
Everything from FFIV
A snowy maze, like in FFVII but with references to the shining (fight some ghosts, and a raving lunatic with a butcher knife)
A tower like final fantasy legend (game boy)
My entire interest in RPGs, and MMOs originated from a friends copy of FFII SNES (which we now call FFIV) in the early 90s. I wanted my own copy but it wasn't available anywhere but I found a store that rented a copy, and I "lost it." I think of my GBA as FFIV since that incarnation of FFIV is pretty much the only thing I've ever used my GBA for (though I prefer SNES). A lot of people say FFVI is better, but I just don't see it.

Perhaps we'll even get to venture into the Void itself, maybe a couple dungeons from there with the final dungeon boss being Neo EX-Death himself?
