This has probably been suggested a few times. But please please please add back in some kind of indicator that your armor is broken or about to be. I'm so forgetful its just sad. I'll go in one dungeon, get warnings that everything just hit 10%, and think to myself, "gee i need to repair after this". Then by the time I'm out, I re-queue again without repairing, as soon as I get in I'm like OMG. I think I need a warning message when I queue for dungeons, that says, "hey idiot your gear is broken, are you sure you want to enter?"

Also on the subject of gear dmg, can we get a way to see gear damage in the armory chest? I'm not sure if its really needed that much, sense you can use the actions/traits to do a repair all on your own equipment. But if your repairing one at a time in the armory, its extremely hard to see what your repairing. The gear set icon has improved this a bit, as well as the glamour icon. I can't tell you how MUCH more helpful that glamour icon was at helping me find gear that needs repaired. In the end, they either need to do that, or they need to disable repairing in the armory, and just put a repair icon on it that opens up the same window you see when you right click on repair in actions/traits.

Or when you do talk the the Mender have an option that repairs all, regardless of what drop down option you have selected. Or just show all items that need to be repaired.

I'm betting this is going to be a memory limitation if anything unfortunately. I don't know though Azucena, they really need a SERIOUS overall to the entire item UI interface. It is so hard to organize things, and know where all your stuff is at and so on. Anytime I'm confronted with having to clean out my inventory/retainers I'm horrified at the thought. I'm afraid to have to go through all of it. I'm not sure what they can do to improve it. I'll throw out some random suggestions. Make all event items have a special colored plate(green), have all damaged below 10% a yellow plate, 5% red, give certain gears above a ilvl threshold a different colored plate blue70 cyan 90 gold 110+. They shouldn't make it too bright that would make it hard to look at. But for a colorblind solution, instead of colored plates change instead to a little icon that represents the class's it works for. If its a blm, put a little staff, SCH a little book. For all don't put anything. There's some gear that is for several specific class's so maybe they also need a single icon to represent mages, and melee.

When your gear is broken, it shows as a red dot on the equipment part of the inventory grid (those 2 vertical lines of dots before the grid actually starts; when not broken those dots are green or white depending on that level they are compared to you). I think that only happens when you reach 0% though, or at least very close to it.

Also, you can tell your gear condition in more detail at a glance if you bring up your equipped interface (just clicking those 2 little vertical lines of dots I mentioned before will bring it up). Every item equipped has 2 lines beside it: a white line indicating spirit bond and a coloured line indicating repair status.

I think it really comes down to making a habit of being mindful though. Actually taking the time to check every now and again, and not waiting for the item to reach 0% before repairing it.

They are green when they're not spirit bound, and turn white when they are. It has nothing to do with their relative level to your own.

For gamepad users give us the option to swap the dpads up/down party select with the LB+ up/down enmity select. I find that when surrounded by a lotta baddies that the left/ right enemy cycle tends to get a bit chaotic and if you're a tank and lose aggro, trying to wade through the mess to get that target can be frustrating. In those situations LB+ up/down is extremely useful, however not only is holding the LB constantly kinda annoying/ hand-cramping, it also happens that LB > RB auto-sheathes your weapon. Plenty of times I go to swap crossbars while holding LB out of reflex and end up sheathing my weapon an just feeling silly. I think giving us the option to swap'em would be beneficial because really, DDs and tanks don't need to constantly cycle through the party like healers so allowing them to switch it would just make their life easier.

While on that tangent, do the same for the left/ right enemy cycle and LB+ left/right alliance cycle. As a healer this would make healing other alliances a thousand times easier.

Ah, I've usually outleveled something around the same time it spirit bonded and never made that connection. In addition to that, despite sewing many a piece of vanya gear in the past, my WVR set had barely spirit bonded at all before 2.2, then suddenly it all (minus the new tool and glasses) must have spirit bonded within a couple of days, around the same time I got the new gear, leaving me with a bunch of white dots and the two new ones still being green. That further made me think that level had something to do with it, maybe iLvl compared to your highest iLvl equipped or something. Still didn't make the connection at all between dot colour and spirit bond. Good info to have. Thank you.

Not sure if anyone suggested this yet, but as of patch 2.21 no one really does FATE grinding parties anymore except for atma farming (atleast on my server anyway) and for people who like to hunt big game a.k.a Notorious Monsters a lot of the FATE NMs stay up longer since there's no large groups to spam and zerge kill them down real fast. So my suggestion would be how about adding some of the FATE NMs to the Hunting Log and to add to their drops maybe some vanity gear, stuff for housing, crafting or whatever.

This is just a starter idea I came up with and wanted to post before I head to bed, so anybody can feel free to twist and tweak to their liking.

No its nothing to do with being spiritbound.
It's all based off of gear's iLvl.
So if you have an i80 weapon, any gear that's i80 or above will show as green, any gear below i80 will show as white. And if you have an i95 weapon (Allagan, Leviathan) it still considers it as i90 for green/white. so with i95 weapon any i90 gear will also show as green.
