Doesn't it just, when you consider you need so many 100 bronze to make one gold this seems great. I'd rather have had hidden around specific locations not marked, similar to a hunting log stype.

Be happy... It's not FATE based...
And it's not just run from point A to point B and just talk to people...
It's something you can complete while doing other stuff. No fixed spots to camp.

But maybe it would have been better if they just gave you the rewards, or pointed you exactly where to go.....

Thanks for the info in this thread folks; I was wondering the same thing. I don't mind hunting spriggans, just wish we'd been told that that was what we needed to do. I've been hunting for visible items in the field and would have simply run past any spriggans.

I don't know about you but I am getting instant ques atm for dungeons so when you say doing other things its a little misguided. And i'm not asking for loot just given to me. I would like a better idea of how to find the eggs in the quests though.

I just found one while doing my lvl 45 WHM quest at the last part in North Thanalan just right above Ceruleum.

I actually went around for about five minutes looking and killing random mobs but then I figured it must have something to do with spriggans since they're the ones in the quest.

Since my last post, I've found zero eggs. I give up. Tired of running around checking nooks and crannies of maps and basically wasting time. Glad I could point people in the right direction, have fun with that.

I hope they dramatically increase the number of field spriggans with each successive quest phase. I get that it's supposed to be an egg hunt, but they seem a little too rare.

But then again if all of the eggs (Bronze/Silver/Gold) only contain Glamour Prisms, I wouldn't even search for them.

Anyone know if gold eggs drop anything good? not sure if it's worth wasting time on this.
