2. The reason #1 is true is because Blizzard's devs don't waste time with systems like Favour, FATE, Glamour, or housing. Instead, they focus on what the MMO community wants, such as viable PVP, decent raid content, gear choices, and an ECONOMY.

3. I made a comment about my opinion of this feature, and you attacked me. You made some arbitrary comment, backed it up with zero data, and expected no retort? In the educated community, there are methods of constructing arguments, and you missed the boat. May I suggest a book to help with your short-comings?

1. I quit wow because it became about farming the same 5 dungeons over and over.

2. We don't care about WoW numbers.

1.) Wow has millions of subscribers because of "family" and "friends" joining to play with the ones that actually subscribed. Why do you think they dropped from 12mil subscribers steadily to the 7m you see now ever since cataclysm?

I'm glad Cataclysm and MoP finally got the people I knew to quit. I've been wanting to move on ever since burning crusade. Only put up with WoW because of friends and family and they have all moved on from WoW.

2.) Warlords of Dreanor is exactly just that. They've been promising those changes since Wrath of the Lich King and they've never really delivered on Transmogrification while updated models, and new dance moves have always ended up being neglected. And you forget what Mist of Panderia brought to WoW. Gardening, Pet battles, and now they are introducing Garrison. Warlords of Dreanor is anything but what you're bringing up.

If it was there would be more Raids and more Dungeons than what they have announced. As for viable PvP would actually mean that PvE and PvP would be separate because PvP is one of the reasons why WoW has suffered. Nerfing classes to oblivion and then using it as their pretext why they don't release new classes as well.

I'd love to be able to carry on solid friendships with members of the Scion, and albeit as cute as Thancred is, not sure he's my type romantically. He'd make a great ally though I suspect

There's a lot of possibilities. Romance isn't the only option yet it is still a potential option that can bring a lot of benefits.

I'd love for something like the Favour system to be implemented. Although I have a feeling Thancred's questline would be very short. X3

...SE would probably stop short of letting you actually romance characters though, it would influence too much of the following storyline. But getting to go on side missions and learn more about your favorite characters? I can see that happening. thancred and I are just friends. good friends.

There isn't really much of a reason a romance would heavily influence the storyline. Maybe some dialog changes slightly if you're romancing a main character, or a specific NPC comes along with you in a mission (someone always goes with you in this example; perhaps if your romancing the default NPC they don't go and another person goes instead, or if you're not romancing the person your partner comes instead of the default) but overall you're still doing the same things as everyone else. Maybe an extra cutscene/dialog before an important part where your lover asks you to be careful or whatnot. Nothing major, nothing someone who chooses not to romance anyone would miss.

WoW has 7 million subscribers because it launched in a very peculiar moment for the industry that did well for it. Popularity and Quality are also two very different concepts.

I don't want them to stop short of romance, it almost feels like they're already doing that in some ways, but I don't want it to be just about romance, either. Take Alphinaud for example, I want my guy to be like his best bro. That would make me so happy. Cuz I love him just about as much as Thancred. I just don't have the urge to make my lady smooch him XD just. EEEEEEE! <3
