My two cents on the ATMA Issue

I hit 12/12 last night after Grinding all weekend. If you dedicate yourself to it, it is not that bad. Switch zones if you get bored. You can not Say I got lucky Since i have been doing it since patch. Not everything in this game should be easy to obtain.

Oh and i wish it was only 400 fates before my first 3 drops.

All weekend? I've been grinding since 2.2 release(I've done story and capped New tomes) But bessides that i've been grinding and grinding.
I've went FAR over 400 fates before i got my first drop. This is not hard nor easy to obtain, its RANDOM,

And yes i think its unfair some people get their 12 atma's within 12 hours and others struggle to get them within 60(do the math)
Like i've said a thousand times before, make it a challenge, make it hard. Let people fail and get up, the only thing they are now doing is handing us 3 dices and make us roll untill we hit 666.

I'm at 5 now after... I think it's 38 hours? I sorta lost count. I've been busy this week, though, and after the first one took 23 hours, 4 more in 14 hours doesn't seem too horrible to me.

My husband got his 12th this morning, though, and I've kinda lost motivation, since by now almost everyone I know is finished already and working on the books.

I'm not really complaining, I don't like the randomness, but it is what it is really. I just wanted to say, I'm currently 35 hours in and still 0/12, its a little disheartening when I've struggled so hard, and my fiance hopped on her char when I was at the 15 hour mark, and she's at 4/12 already. I'm not gonna stop trying, by any means, but yeah, I can understand the frustration some people have, and I can understand the contentment others do. For some, things like this work out superbly, for others it's a lot more taxing. I find the time goes a lot easier if it's spent joking with friends rather than just focusing on the amount of time spent. I wish you all the best of luck, to everyone still trying for their atmas, and my sincerest congratulations to those that have finished or are close to finishing. Lets all just keep working together to get that new glow effect~

Well i finally got all 12 of them...

First drop was the hardest as it did not drop untill 35 hours... 10 minutes after that my 2nd dropped... the other 10 all took about 3-8 hours per piece.
Like the new look of my sword, can't wait to upgrade it further but yeah, needless to say i'm not gonna do this for my 2nd class as its boring as hell and it depends on luck way to much. 0% skill 100% luck.

I wish that I had all twelve of mine, still have 5 more to go after ... well I have lost count at this point of how many fates I have done and how many hours I have put into this :P

I started Atma farming on the PS4 beta, so Friday & Saturday and a little bit on Sunday when I finally got 1. ^.^ I enjoy FATES and probably one of the rare ones that does. The only thing that was disheartening, is I kept wondering if I'm doing something wrong as long as it was taking to just get that one. Kept wondering if I did in fact pick up the quest lol.

I'm at around 50 hours with 2/12. It's... demoralising. Especially when a guy in the FC get 5 within 2 hours.
