    Make sure that "more than enough" gil is at least 5% more than the asking price on the market board...
    I believe both buyer and seller have to pay taxes on everything bought and sold...

    That's incorrect - you pay tax only of the selling retainer is in another city than you're currently.

    Anyway - this message is mainly displayed when owner "talks" to retainers which is happening more frequently lately due to the new retainer's ventures.
