Why not just level another class while you wait for the que? Or try playing another class you enjoy? Tanks and healers get much faster ques than DPS. You can also try making friends and running the dungeons with people you enjoy being around.

Way to miss the point. This is not about leveling a different class or doing dungeons. At all.

This is about grinding sub-50 FATE's as a Level 50, with a Relic Zenith weapon, for an item that has a 0.000000000001% drop rate. And you need 12 different versions of said item. After that, you get some Book for a huge amount of Mythology tomestones, and you have to camp specific FATE's.

I tried Atma farming yesterday. Gave up within 2 hours. I am probably never getting my Atma.

It's not about completing it in 1 day or 30 days, it's about the pointless grind just to prolong the gear progression.

you people know nothing of monotonous grinding! Back in my day, to even get a relic we had to grind dozens of hamlets trying to earn the best rating, farming various items to get top provisioner, spend countless days, hours, and weeks with very little to show for it.
2.0 is nothing concerning grinding... tell me about how you spent hours leveling in a group at a camp to either spiritbond for materia or get to 50.
