We need a response from Yoshi about the Atma quest.

Stop bothering yoshi and his team with your crybaby bull so they can focus on making more great content like leviathan, coil, all three of the new dungeons are great, the hildibrand quests and dare I say it... The relic line.

I'm on hour 32 now (I haven't been concentrating on it really; I know some people who did this much grinding within the first 3-4 days) and I have 4/12 Atmas. I know of people who have been grinding longer than I have, who haven't gotten a single drop yet. This is what's bull, not the fact that people are complaining about it.

I'm thankful to SE for giving me a reason to get off my ass and fate grind again~ running a tiny FC(1 other person) and we went from the bottom of lvl 6 to 3/4 of the way through just from my atma farming.

If you didn't find a reason to FATE grind before now, obviously it wasn't important enough to you to spend time on. I wonder why that is? Maybe because FATEs are the most boring, lazy content design ever? I love all of these "Quit whining, it's fine because I got mine already with minimal effort" posts. I really do.

I think I'm on hour 20 with 2 atmas. Makes me sick that people get all 12 within 12 hours or so (1 an hour). But such is RNG.

Maybe cause there was no REASON to fate grind? in the time it'd take me to fate grind about 60k gil, I could have ran DD atleast 10 times and got 600k gil from selling the drops~

Maybe folks should stop "Grinding" away...

I played yesterday and within 1 hour I got 3 ATMA from Thanalan (Western, Central & Southern) by merely stopping and doing a few FATES while doing other things. I'd be willing to bet that I get all 12 the exact same way with very little time spent.

Just to add to what the last member said I understand the reasons why the devs have made it this way to slow progression for all the elites and maybe bring all the gaming community a little closer and more importantly not have all the new content all finished upon a few days of release. All very good reasons I agree but sadly it doesn't work the elites are somehow still getting through the atma farming and most are through many of their books. The only real way to slow progress is have on a time/cap which you obtain on a weekly basis but I guess people will still find a way to complain but at least with a weekly progression cap everyone has a chance to catch up.
