PLD ATMA Complete 14.5 hours

Currenty missing one FATE as it is multi-boss FATE and i just dont have DPS to kill them all before time runs out and nobody really do that FATE ever so

You'll have to bring a few friends. I had 2 FC mates help me with it and 3 man + chocobos we did it with a few minutes to spare. One of the birds (south I think) uses stoneskin on a ~30 second cooldown, so save your Spirit's Within to silence that everytime. Once he's low, he'll start spamming cure which you should just ignore (it does ~600 healing).

Fairly simple, looks like you could do them in a day, not sure if they get harder thou.

STR book on the shield is looking to be easier than the VIT book, due to it not having an unsoloable fate in it.

@WingsofWar: I assume shield will get +2 STR just like it gets +2 VIT and after those it will probably become Animus unless SE is saving that for 2.25.

I'm going after the shield first, only 2 books to get it to Animus level. At that point it picks up some additional block rate and block strength. +12/+12. But the stats are +2 vit / +2 Str on the books

I'll be finishing off my +str book later on today after work, so I'll post as to what happens when you fully upgrade the shield. Fingers crossed that it actually upgrades and that I haven't wasted 1500 myth on getting that +2 str before the +vit upgrades on the sword.

Finished it off today - the shield doesn't auto upgrade, you have to go back to Jalzahn and upgrade it from the new menu. It counts as an Animus for the achievement and has a shiney yellow/white glow. Album: http://imgur.com/a/7kSaa#0

Grats on RNG luck. I usually get 1 every 5 hours. 2 so far after giving up multiple times or having to go to work.

One question: can you delete completed book? as it doesnt auto-disappear from key item bag when completed. Also Gz getting animus shield completed :>

I used both the sword and shield, since I didn't have any others to use. I've heard you only need the sword equipped, but you need both the sword and shield to be Zenith for the Atma upgrade.

The book will disappear when you buy your next one. Haven't risked deleting one, since there's not really any point.

Jealous I spent about 8hrs in Upper La Noscea and still don't have Atma from there. Probably take your advice and switch zones once in awhile
