Doing for hours on ends the same thing is not a good grind, what's good with the books is that you have a lot of different activities in different places to do, with Dungeon runs for myths you only rush the same dungeon for 4 hours to get your book, compared to that i prefered atma farming where you you have 12 areas to play in.

You don't have to grind the Myth all at once. Hell, just doing the daily High, Low, Trials, and Main scenario is 240 (+ whatever drops in dungeons) Myth. Add beastmen dailies for another 30-54 each day, and you can get 1 book a week with minimal effort and wide variety.

Grinding Brayflox first 2 for Myth is a choice because you want it now.

No, there are only 4 books per weapon (1 for each stat that it can increase). There are 9 books that need done to get the Animus, most of which are multiples of those 4.
