Summoner needs to be tweaked before Red Mage and Blue Mage are released

Your post clearly make the already overpowered to the imbalance state..
SMN already have the highest DPS in the team compared only to MNK and you still complain about it..
It is true that SMN lack of "SUMMONNER" like ability.. but still their DPS in already insane

I'm not questioning Summoner's Dps I'm saying they don't have any Summoner abilities except for spur and enkindle technically we are still in Arcanist with the job as a side show. According to lore Summoner's are Mages that can summon god like beings and bind their power to their will. Even though each Final Fantasy is a stand alone title with a different lore and new world the class lore always stays the same.

I don't feel summoner is where it should be right now. I think they need to have 6 stacks of Aetherflow, and they also should give Ifrit greased lighting stacks that way people will start using him more. Also enkindle is on to high of a CD it needs to be dropped to about 30 seconds, and while they are at it since Lustrate is instant cast and no CD go ahead and make Fester the same way. SE please make these changes!

In a post I made, she complained about not having Titan's Bombs and Tumults, Ifrit's Plumes and Eruptions, and Garuda's Tornado and not being able to cast Haste on the SMN...

Summoners are a jack of all trades and master of all. Summoners have the best single target dps. They have the second best aoe dps. They have swift cast raise and virus.

I'd suggest an all around nerf for summoners. that would give room for other new dps.

I have no idea if you're serious or not but if you really think SMN damage should be reworked to be more powerful, you are an awful SMN. SMNs have very high single target DPS, excel at sustained, have decent burst, a pet-tank that can be used as a stop-gap in any dungeon if a tank d/c's, is the only non-healer job that can battle-res ( and can do so without MP issues ), aoe damage is only just below BLM when a SMN is played effeciently.

Anyway, on topic, SMN doesn't need rework, their playstyle (SMN + DoTs) actually makes complete sense. They summon a being to lead the attack and debuff/cripple their enemies from afar while their pet gets up close and personal. Garuda is the exception and fittingly, the worst one to use in solo/PvE content and the 'best' to use in party content, when your role as a debuffer is more pronounced (and Garuda, surprise surprise, has an ability that enhances your DoTs/debuffs).

How exactly is SMN a jack of all trades? I can't stand this phrase - I love playing hybrids, but there are no hybrids in this game.
