Legacy/non-Legacy quest text differences REDUX: Help wanted!

It's been awhile since we've spoken about potential differences in quest text, given that all adventurers are full-fledged "Warriors of Light" as of completion of 2.0 main scenario. However, I (legacy - Hyperion) noticed that during the opening cutscene of Turn 7, Alisaie has this gem:

How is this possible? Alphinaud told me of Nael's final defeat at your hands.

The xivdb quest text lists "（★未使用／削除予定★）" (translation: Not used / to be trimmed) as the line immediately following it. Is this line different for non-legacy players? Seems like the placeholder text might be the non-legacy version of the line which was not successfully picked up by the xivdb guys?

Also, now that quest text has been implemented into xivdb.com, we should try and go back to examine the exact places where legacy/non-legacy see different lines (most likely marked with placeholder text as above. I'll try to work on it when I have time but I'd welcome any help you can offer!

Just an aside about these cutscenes, and this could be a PS4 bug (I am trialling it and the graphics are amazing versus my PS3, which lead me to watch cutscenes in the inn room).

My character has the back-tattoo, but I did not even see Dalamud as I quit only a few months into 1.0. However, I now have access to all the legacy player cutscenes in the inn - from the teleporting in scene, the alternate "welcome to Ul'dah" entrance and even key cutscenes such as Cid recognising me and Minfilia, too!

Unfortunately, you can't clearly see by any markings in the journal which scenes are different - XIVDB is probably a lot faster.

Non-legacy players also had a cutscene in which Cid recognizes the PC as having given him his trademark goggles as a youth. Since my character would have been an early teenager when that happened, I guess it's some sort of fore-echo of his later experiences with me? I dunno.

Actually, I do not think that is the context of that particular scene. But first, I was actually referencing two very different scenes which are after this part, once Cid regains his memories (that you help him access). One scene is where Cid clearly says "I rode on an airship with you and we fought the White Raven together and watched the fall of Dalamud and it was totally amazing! We better not tell anyone you're back though because if people know you, the Warrior of Light from 1.0 is back, they will all want a piece of you!" and the other is "I knew people like you, though they were a little cooler cause they tried to stop Dalamud and stuff, and I've done things like this before with them!" [not direct quotes].

What you are referencing, the use of the echo inside Cid's mind, is in fact the same for everyone. Rewatch the scene, and I think you can see that it is more along the lines of Cid acknowledging that he can see your essence in his current thoughts, in is soul, as you access it through the Echo. That is what your character acknowledges when Cid asks afterwards - that you just accessed his thoughts using the Echo. It was a current thing - your essence was currently inside his head - not you visiting his past and altering it by physically giving him goggles. You did not physically give him a pair of goggles - he came from Garlemald with them probably - but that was the moment he started wearing him, and you triggered his memory of that moment, which unleashes all his memories. You gave him something much better than goggles - you gave him a symbolic pair of goggles as you floated all sparkly in the sky which trigged the memory that he was desperately looking for, the moment he first put on that pair of goggles riding into Eorzea.
