Because when you're trying to squeeze out every bit of evasion that you possibly can, sometimes you gotta spend some cash. I mean what else is there in the game except trying to get the absolute best gear possible? Nothing.

I guess, I don't know most of my LS crafts so we just tend to make stuff for one another so I put most of my gil into crafting.

Also when I do buy gear I tend to compare stats on Regular vs +1/+2 and see what gives me the most bang for the buck. If two things have the basic same stats I'd just buy the cheaper one.

As to the OP.....
+1 = +5%
+2 = +10%
+3 = +15%
on all star stats

So if the game is rounding up on Cotton Undershirt....
the highest stat is defense 10

5% of 10 is 0.5
So the Defense on +1 cotton undershirt is 10.5 (10 + 0.5)
Which is rounded to 11 defense

10% of 10 is 1
So the Defense on +2 Cotton Undershirt is 11 (10 + 1)

Any stat 6 and under, there would be no difference between +1, +2 or even +3

Ironically enough... Gath's +2 underwear has higher stats than a plus 1

Edit: SE "COULD HAVE" made it so a +2 had a minimum of 2 points added to the stat and a +3 had a minimum of 3 points added if the percentage increase fell below that value... But alas, they did not

Thats cool... Just in case anyone was wondering why a +1 and +2 would have the same stats... now they know....
