Let's talk about the Libra Eorzea App

I wish that some of the item info was more complete. For example, yew branch is used in crafting recipes but the app says only "not sold", "not dropped". Why not add "gatherable"? For dungeon drops, would it be a bad thing to say which dungeon? I'm not sure about this one, but I would love that have that info in the app.

I think though for the app to interact with the game, it would need to be a paid feature. That's a lot to ask of a free app, in my opinion. Also, can all smartphones use LE? If not, I think this would need to be prioritized.

All Android and iOS smartphones can use it (I even have it on my iPod Touch). I doubt they want to bother with all that work to port a free app to Windows Phone, which almost nobody uses.

Yes, i think that the kind of content I described above, such as retainer venture and possibly a chocobo and card game mini-game would not be something I'd expect from a free app.

I'd be willing to pay an extra £1 a month in sub to get these features, or maybe a paid version (£3-4 perhaps?) of the Libra Eorzea app for those that cringe at the sound of "additional sub fees"

I'd like it to shamelessly copy WOW Armory and give us the ability to see our emotes in it

WoW Armoury is a free smartphone app that allowed you to chat with your guild, browse the AH, search for specific items and where they drop, browse your characters, and check upcoming events. It doesn't have to be a paid feature, although WoW Armoury was an additional fee to your sub when it first launched, now no longer the case.

It even updates your character data much faster then the current Lodestone does
