    The fact rank 99 mobs are killable at all at rank 50 just shows how broke the battle system is in this game. I can imagine we're all in for a shock with the new system when mobs of rank 60 become challenging in a party of 8 rather than easily soloable.

    Well, unless they modify SP gains heavily, if killing rank 60s is hard at 50, we'll be doomed when the cap is raised, seeing as your SP is optimal at the 10 rank gap and can get pretty low on things only 7 or 8 higher than your PT.

    Why? When the cap is raised you'll be skilling on rank 65 or 70 mobs depending on how high they raise it. I'm predicting increments of 10 however due to how the leves, behests and gathering grades work.
