sigggggggggggggggghMy FC's dragoon has 8 atma. Since the last time he updated us, three days ago when he had one atma (which took somewhere between one and two hours, because he got frustrated that they weren't dropping for him, even though they WERE and he missed the notification so some of us ended up with up to FOUR), he's had a total of maybe ten hours where we didn't know exactly where he was and what he was doing.
The drop rate is fine. If you don't like it, just don't get atma. Nobody's forcing you. Go get a leviathan or soldiery weapon. For most classes they're better anyway.
Hey! quick thought exercise for everyone in these threads mentioning how fast they got their atma; if like, hundreds of people were posting that a major plot progression quest was simply broken, they couldn't turn it in, mobs wouldn't spawn, etc. but it had worked for you when you tried... would you feel the need to jump in and ask what all the whiners were complaining about?
No? Because that would be incredibly redundant, condescending and stupid? Cool! Please keep it in mind in the future, and thanks in advance.
Ok so I guess I'm not allowed to disagree with you because that would be condescending. But the drop rate is still fine. This is a quest meant to take months and some people already have multiple atmas after a week. You don't see me whining that I still haven't gotten a titanic sawfish. It's frustrating, but it's there, I know I can get it, and I just have to keep trying because I don't expect everything to be handed to me on a silver platter.
yes. you're literally not allowed to disagree that other people find the extreme RNG gambling component objectionable; you can't disagree with someone else disliking the quest, the content, the grind, or whatever else. think what you like about it; they pay just as much as you to play and if they don't feel they're getting their money's worth, your self-righteousness doesn't do anything to change it.
and for that matter, as far as you PERSONALLY being screwed by RNG goes, feel free to take as much abuse from S-E as you like, but there's similarly nothing you can "disagree with" when it comes to other people being locked out of progression and upgrades, despite working just as hard as anyone else, due to nothing but sheer dumb luck. it is something that is factually, objectively happening, right this very moment, and your little opinions can't do anything about that, sorry.

Ok so you apparently don't like it, but don't believe it needs to be changed. Because while I can't say "no you totally like this," I can definitely say "these numbers are fine from a game balance perspective and they don't need to be boosted." Obviously if I can't disagree, then we must agree.yes. you're literally not allowed to disagree that other people find the extreme RNG gambling component objectionable; you can't disagree with someone else disliking the quest, the content, the grind, or whatever else. think what you like about it; they pay just as much as you to play and if they don't feel they're getting their money's worth, your self-righteousness doesn't do anything to change it.
Also you actually pay more than me. Legacy ftw.

Hey, remember that opinion that i pointed out doesn't matter? It's that one! Even if you feel it's fine, i, and lots of other people, don't feel that spending anywhere from 6 to 200 hours getting literally nothing for our time is fine by any definition of the word.
And yeah, i'm legacy too. I played at NA release and this is more odious to me, enough that i'm cancelling.
also like, idle question: are you and the other SE white knights aware of what the forums are for? It's not trolling other players, if you were wondering, nor is it for trying to show off how above-it-all and archly clever you are, or brag about how quick you got your drops. If you don't have commentary for the developers, you really should stop posting.
besides that TC reminds of people in 11 who mained thf and could never get LL drop after 100 trys.
