My two cents on the ATMA Issue

I didn't read all the comments but the only question I have for people is -why are you doing this quest if you don't like it? There are other ways to get weapons; no one is forcing you to farm atmas. I hope that SE leaves the drop rate as it is so people really have to earn the atma weapon considering getting a relic zenith really wasn't much of a challenge. And just for context sake, I paid my dues -37 hours later I have my sphairai atma. I love its new look and the FATE grinding was totally worth it in my opinion.

Now to farm more myth tomes for the book....

Then i suggest you reed some comments, Seriously, i haven't heard ANYTHING possitive about this part of 2.2 in the party's ive been in yet, not a single thing.
Now the rest of 2.2 is awesome, some new cool dungeons new EX modes(Love the new dances, sidequests etc etc.) can't wait to try them out. And yes, i would like to upgrade my relic so i'm more or less forced to do this boring quest.
And yes i think its unfair people get a atma drop every other hour and i'm well over 30 hours now and still haven't got one, Now i wouldn't be complaining if i would had gotten a drop after 5 hours or so, But atm i spent more time getting ZERO atma's then most people with their 12 atma's.

Haven't read why people are complaining right? Ofcourse there are better weapons, But just like all the primal weapons. some people like to get them.
And i'm not even gonna waste any time to u explaining why, there are enough comments here that will tell you, but i assume you're not even gonna bother

As stated before, there are plenty of other viable options that make this upgrade wholly optional.

Has nothing to do with OCD or being a completonist, There are plenty of things i don't do and other people just like to upgrade there relic, But thats near to IMPOSSIBLE due to this randomness, a little random is good but this is taking it to a whole new level, And do you want me to point out again(20th time?) in this thread why that randomness is killing the fun out of the game?

What about this is challenging exactly? That's the entire problem I have with it. It's boring. There is no challenge except fighting to stay awake. As for your first comment, I'm not doing this unless they change things, but remember that they have said that the relic is supposed to be upgradable to always be a viable option for a weapon to use. If we don't do this at some point, we are locking ourselves out of the relic permanently.

I keep seeing people say this, yes no one wants to remember that Yoshi has ALREADY stated that the quest line will continue. So at some point this weapon may become BiS. Then what? Everyone who suddenly thought this was optional and skipped it are going to be up in arms.

This quest isn't a challenge. I spend my entire time doing 1-2-1-2-1-2-1-2... I have tons of other skills at 50 yet I have them all locked out because I'm doing content that is 40 levels below me. That's my complaint.
