    Interesting read. Matsui interestingly dispelled most comments about XI's battle system making a return.

    At the same time, I see they have a rather lofty goal (or are being purposely vague) in terms of the goals for the job and battle systems. I will commend them for basically admitting they're rebuilding the key parts of the game from scratch.

    * The sad thing is that FFXIV turned RDM into a turret, and people think that's what it's supposed to be. It's supposed to combine sword and magic into something more, not spend the bulk of gameplay spamming spells and jump into melee for only 3 GCDs before scurrying back to the back line like good little casters.
