Are Treasure Hunt rates too low?

I've done around 200 maps by myself. I get my daily and buy them whenever they reached below 8k each for piete and boarskin, with an occasional toadskin thrown in.

I've gotten around 7 bluebirds, 6 tonberrys and 2 of the bulb.

That's like 15 / 200. So about 7.5% of the time I got a minion.

I've easily run over 500 maps and I've only seen I think 4 blue birds drop. You've got a good rate going there.

I've been doing a single map hunt per day as well since its launch with my hubby, and i can confirm the worst drop ever in a mmorpg.
You arent that unlcuky, the drops are very very low.
Never got a minion nor a goatskin item reward, only a grass a single time.
Maybe that mithra over there have a point, and sure hunt with FC group must be the way SE wants us to do it.

I do a boarskin a day. Since the maps' implementation, I've seen 2 or 3 Tonberry minions, no bulb minions. Think I've gotten 12 Unhidden Leather Maps.

It kind of sucks. Really nice when something does drop, but I ever expect anything anymore. I will say that I have never seen a Bluebird with the damn peisteskin maps and probably never will.

I don't bother with them anymore. The time I waste looking for the treasure only to get useless items and tomestones is better spent on a DF trial.

Maps sell between 10k to 30+k Gil on my server, which is much more than whatever items I get from these trash hunts
