With your end or the path you take to get to the servers. Not absolutely with the game itself. Anecdote; I have friends in Hawaii that only have issue with Titan Ex/HM. It's almost always your connection or your setup.

However, if the game moved away from server side checks, everything would be smoother. Like most modern MMOs

the game was having sever lag issues, and i wasnt the only one reporting it, lots and lots of people were reporting lag, disconnects, and constant 90ks. so it wasnt me. also i guess it was a little over a month ago so not quite a month and a half like i said, according to my posts, since i posted about it with everybody else back when it was going on.

I decided to try getting the guildhest challenge log done this morning (0500-0700 PST). Insane lag even there. So much lag, in fact, that the message would pop at the end about a bonus being awarded - but by the time the system acknowledged it's OWN message it would forget about the bonus and just give 100 gil

We are well aware of the problem and will be implementing a fix as soon as possible, please look forward to it. (This april fools thing is great...but seriously...i'm not playing till this is fixed.)

Its happening in all dungeons ive been in all weekend. Its real annoying.

That's the tl;dr of healing in this lag.

I wonder if they're waiting till the "rush" of the new content wears off instead of actually making attempts to alleviate the lag? That would really suck because then I'll start to wonder if every new patch will suffer the same issue at the start.

in what universe is it ok for an mmo with a monthly sub to operate like that? i feel like if any other mmo was plagued by the lag this one has been experiencing, it would just die off. but thats not happining because of the nametag on this mmo. if i didnt mind crappy service, id be playing a f2p title, but i DO mind. thats why im playing a p2p game, because they arent suppose to have this crap happen constantly.

The funny part - lag is happening because too many people are playing. Even before the update when lv50+ people generally had nothing to do 90k error was very common during peak hours.
I play before the reset or go as SCH hoping Eos will do all the work, still need to catch up with the teleporting tanker.
Well, it takes only 30 min a day to max soldiery tokens.

I've experience it too lol to a point where i was cringing my face at how bad i looked for an i90 whm to the other players XD.
I was like qq i'm tryinggggg D:
But it got worse after the tank's emnity combos and damage mitigation skills failed to work when the tank needed them.
So his hp was dropping so fast and mobs were everywhere and were attacking everyone lol!
So i had to hope for the best and spam medica, cure 3 and medica 2 just cuz i couldn't afford to have anymore interuptions during my casts for individual targets.
We made it thru but not without a lot of pain and suffering
It was also so bad that during zone transitions (i.e the blue dotted line ), i was able to run past the line wait there a few secs and run back without switching zones. I just hit an invisible wall lol.

A few days ago it was a 50% chance if the instance you were in was screwed by lag, now it seems almost 100%. Being a drg trying to combo is fun..

The best part is when you spam cure II screaming at your screen and after like 3-4 Cure II you see their hp move up a liiiil bit.
