Expand the Armoury Chest please ; ;

I'd like to know when were going to get an expansion to the armory chest to be able to hold more than 25 pieces of gear per slot. As someone who has all DOW/DOM at 50, all DOL at 50, an eventually all DOH at 50....space in the chest is at a premium for me right now. With them planning to add more jobs in the future it's only going to get worse. Most of my jobs I only have one gear set for but some of them I have different sets for different builds(Dungeon content set for my PLD, raid content set for coil, crit build for sch, spell speed build for whm etc.). I'm also holding on to all the crafter gear to level a craft from 1-->50, and thats taking up alot of space.

That would have nothing to do with OP's concern, because s/he's talking about Armoury Chest and having different sets at hand while adventuring.
I'm currently worried about rings tab (1 tab for doubled items) and Armoury Chest as a whole, just like OP.

This would fill up the armoire more quickly and thus make the OP's issue even worse!

So, instead of JUST making it so that it can hold more types of armor, how about it do that AND have additional slots available?

I'm doing that as well. It takes up a lot of space. If I could put all that in my armoire (since I'm only leveling one craft at a time), it would free up a ton of space in my armory chest.

I appreciate the responses XD. It's a pain really, I have a set for BTN/FSH/MIN, my four 50 crafting jobs, my main four classes I play each have a full set(None of them share gear ; ;, PLD,BRD,SCH,MNK), PLD and SCH have multiple. My inventory is packed full of materials for aforementioned craftf(CUL yuck ; . Would be nice if we could see like 30 per slot? Even that would help. Annoying sometimes when I can't change jobs because my Armoury Chest is full XD.

I have all classes at 50 and have no problem with this.

It's just a matter of prioritising what each class needs, you should in effect be able to have 1 set of gear for every class and some extra space left over.

Use your retainer and armoire to store the gear you don't need/use.

I am going to assume also that you don't play every class regularly, so some of that gear can go to retainers or the armoire until you need it.

Worse case is your will have to buy an additional retainer, its unlikely they will consider increasing the armoury chest because they want to sell you a retainer, Maybe if they add additional classes down the road they will consider it though.

Even MORE annoying is that it doesn't say WHICH part of the armory so you can spend considerable amount of time by juggling items between armory, inventory and even retainers sometimes to be able to perform simple class / job swap. It should alway explicitly note which part(s) of armory is full.

I agree the limitation greatly discourages leveling multiple classes. Having gear in the chest would not help this.

Even better it should just unequip one piece to the main inventory to free up the slot.
