out of no where weird lines all over the place for ps3 user

weird lines all over the place in east shroud like a rave scene then in mordona lines all over the place in levi instance the floors graphics are messed up to any ideas?

Is it only ffxiv that has this problem? Are you experiencing it in any other games? The usual culprit is due to failing hardware, but it is rare for it to only occur in one game if this is the case. Check several of your games to ensure you see no other corruption with graphics, if you continue to have the issue it is possible you need to either run a file check (if that is an option) or even reinstall the game cause files might be corrupted.

i reinstalled twice and no issue happens with any other game i did try it on my friends ps3 and it was fine but this game does push the ps3 to max graphics i believe is it possible for this game to ruin my ps3? its upsetting but i guess i have to get a ps4 early sadly i put a ticket in but who knows if it will do any good

No game is capable of ruining a PS3. If the PS3 was already on its way out a game that demands more resources than most may be the first to display symptoms of such.

i guess I'm getting a PS4 then sadly that means i will be behind 4-5 days of this game since i will be able to transfer my character over for the 2nd beta on April 4th

If you have the fat PS3 you can buy a 60Gb hard drive to test it out tho.

since PS3 allow downloading of the game on steam you can look up the EU or NA version your choice tho.

i dont do steam but ever since i started playing ffxiv on my ps3 it only freezes for ff14 no other games others have reported the same issue only with this game so this game in my opinion takes to much power from the ps3 hence why there is a ps4 version cause it can handle all of its capabilities so i personally believe this game messed up my ps3
