Atma weapon dissapointment

So we get hyped up about atma weapons. and farm for days for the atma's.
then get it just to find out all you get is a weapon of different color but no difference in stats from the Zenith. This one was quite a disappointment I have to say. For the amount of work that was required to get said atma weapon AND for it showing that it is Ilvl 100 this should have somewhat of a difference in stats.

They said they will upgrade it in coming patches but they did not give any solid info. As it is now seems like a leap of faith.

Atma is just a step. Now go do your books and get all the stats. Once done convert to Animus. Animus is the current i100 "relic" with damage added to the stats you improved with books. Patch 2.25 will add more stuff, 2.3 even more....

OP is most likely refering to the fact that you do a time sink (fate grinding) to get items that only change the ilvl and color of your weapon. im thinking people wouldnt be saying anything if it was an extra point in each stat for going to atma, and then the books to fully get the upgrades.

So you mean you spent hours and days grinding fates mindlessly and did not even look at the stats of the atma that was posted on lodestone beforehand? Hahahahahahahaha.

it's point one of the biggest fail of the atma, even if you do book you will need to wait to get the weapon in animus for get the damage of a weapon ilevel 100. meaning the weapon will be less powerfull than levi weapon or twin. simply because instead to give the boost of damage with the atma farming they make us wait to have finish ALL the book for get this boost of damage.

actually Atma weapon is a disappointement, indeed at term it will be one of the strongest weapon of the game. but right now, if you look at the time sink it is and the reward you get... it's simply not worth the time. and i doubt that even with the 2.25 it will change, simply because for now SE have put raid before everything, Crafting and relic take more time... but still you are not rewarded for your hard work, because they think that raid content must be the most rewarding.
