PLEASE, stop teaching/telling new healers to DPS

Objectively speaking there are cases when a dpsing healer makes things safer and I just wanted to point out that for you and for other healers reading this thread. I definitely agree with your safety-first stance.

It's really annoying when WHMs don't know when they are expected to holy. Also, while I stopped playing with WHM at ilvl80 and only cleared T4 and Garuda EX with the class something tells me (maybe your DL-wearing avatar) that I might have a bit more experience than you which I wanted to share and which you can ignore if it's not useful to you, but there're other readers which hopefully will dps with when needed and won't dps when it's not needed. And won't be afraid of grabbing aggro too much.

I did not say healer should or should not DPS, it's funny you quoted me again to argue about something i didn't say. I guess it's the reason behind you *snipped* my post, though original one is still in place.
If you want to share experience - stand on your own and state something without quoting others. Arguing does not contribute, it just wastes time. Sorry i had to say this but really tired about arguing.
Regarding the statement you are being argued now, i believe you meant a player should be willing to carry the others since they all are in the same boat (dungeon).

The problem is....
That when other people teach new healers how to heal and dps, they don't introduce them into the world of mouse over macros. I've never gotten my party wiped because I can dps. Only when my attention has to go away from screen or lag.

Accuracy, which will only have a notable effect on your attacks during Coil, and even then mostly in the later turns. Yeah, I too wonder how a stat that isn't needed to DPS the majority of the game is gonna have any bearing on whether you should be DPSing as a healer.
