That's why I hated GW2's "level sync" system. You kept the skills of your current level, and you got extra stats from multi-stat gear. That meant high level players were at a large advantage compared to players of the appropriate level. Once the game had established itself a bit, nobody wanted to do dungeons with anybody who wasn't at 80.

That has settled down mostly. Players have started to get so good at the dungeons that they'll take 1 low level to carry them through the dungeon. Especially since they capped the gold you get to a daily thing account bound, so people can't farm the dungeons like they used to. You'll still see elitists though in Fractals, but most people don't religiously run them.
