Looking for a casual LGBT friendly static or FC - Still in 2.0/2.1 content.

I’m looking to start or join a LGBT Friendly static, or even join a social FC that’s more on the casual side.

I mostly play FFXIV for the story and the social interaction and I’m not really in a rush to finish content. I’ve not done much in the way of end game content currently simple because the community in general doesn’t play the way I want to play (not a complaint just my reality).

I’m not into enrage methods, or stopping after a few failed attempts, don’t like locking mobs out of boss fights so they can be avoided. I would love to learn the mechanics at a pace with my team mates. I also don’t want to force people to play my way, I’m hoping there are more people like me who want to play the way I do.

Right now I’m behind on the content and I’d like to catch up, obviously from my play style I’ll never be leading edge on content and I’m totally fine with that. I hoping I’m not the only one behind the content curve. I also don’t want to be carried by people already in i90 gear, I just don’t see any fun in sailing through stuff.

I played ffxi from NA release, I’ve played WoW and other MMO’s. I played FFXIV in 1.0 starting in beta. I have all my DOM/DOW at 50. And DOL @ 50 (except fishing) and DOH @ 40+.

My Main is WHM, but I’m liking BLM a lot. I’m a pretty easy going guy, I like helping people if I can too. Not sure that there is much else to tell lol.

Give us a read and see what you think, even though we are not LGBT-Friendly focused like some groups out there, we are a nice group of mannered people that are mindful on sensitive issues as well.

Thanks MiNuN, I'll take a look later today. Well mannered works for me. I just didn't want to hear 'That's gay' every 5 minutes lol. I hoping to be back in game tonight. If not tomorrow for sure.

Hey, You're more than welcome to join us at <No Pants Policy> if you haven't found an FC already. We are a LGBT/Straight-Alliance FC and have a pretty active LS to go along. We range from casual to semi-hardcore players. Our core group is trying to clear 2.2 content at the moment, but we have a bunch of players still catching up. So there really isn't any pressure to keep up with progression. If you've found an FC already, I might be able to squeeze you into our LS if you want.

Notorious Monsters might be a good fit. I know we have at least one member who is gay, and it's not an issue. The topic is almost non-existent, so you won't have to worry about derogatory comments from our members. Doesn't matter who you are, we all play together and have a good time!

Also, as for your content coverage, it doesn't matter to us. We accept all levels of experience just as long as you don't bring or cause drama
