Just because I haven't achieved that position in the game doesn't mean I don't understand that others do like it, nor does that mean I haven't experienced it before. Hell, I might not even pursue atma when the time comes.

This is an option. There are other paths to powerful weapons and you're not required to chose this road.

Seeing as the only mount he has is the company chocobo, he's not completed the main story yet to even start a relic.

You may be looking at my old Legacy character, which only has the Legacy Chocobo.

Who cares how far he has gotten? Everyone is entitled to your opinion. I bet if he agreed with you guys, it wouldn't matter if he had a relic or not.
